Module description
The module will provide you with an opportunity to explore the techniques of project management, delving into the principles and themes of building a successful project from planning to implementation. It offers an overview of the entire project lifecycle, covering aims and objectives, budgeting, timescale, team development, resources, and scope. Throughout, you will be introduced to the knowledge and skills required to successfully manage projects, learning how to overcome business problems and challenges. Specifically, you will gain an appreciation for the role that projects play within your organisation and how they contribute to the development, delivery, and impact of organisational strategy. You will also gain early exposure to core professional methods, such as Agile delivery approaches and PRINCE2-style stage-gated planning, developing an appreciation for how recognised project management frameworks help ensure consistency, control, and predictable delivery.?
